Boys of Summer
It seems like summer is almost over and it really has just started.
Greyson has so much fun swimming with Daddy and gets more and more comfortable with being in the water every time we go.
He thinks this is the funniest thing to do.
He quickly learned how to climb up on the deck on his own. He does need a little boost but he will be jumping up on the deck and back down quicker than we think.
Hope you are all enjoying your summer as much as we are.

New Summer Gear
Running doesn't take much but I do love getting new stuff. I have been talking about trying out a visor for a while and I am really liking it. Much cooler than my normal hat. On the same trip it was time for new shoes. Got the same exact ones i had last time (color and all) even though they had a new model cause I saved $35. Now that's a deal I couldn't pass up.

158 - 6/6/12: This is what he has learned how to do in the past week with Daddy and friends encouragement.
157 - 6/5/12: First shiner from walking in front of a friend on a swing. I just looked away for a second and he jumped right in front of it.

154 - 6/2/12: First official Trail Race with my friend Allison. At Hobb's state park - 10K.

Now That's a Shiner
Greyson got his first shiner today at his first real "play date". Hopefully he learned not to walk in front of a person swinging. Someday we will all get to razz him that this sweat little girl gave him his first black eye. He didn't hold any grudges as you can see he shared his ice with her after he settled down. Thanks to MomBE and Kylie for the help and for taking some pics too. ;)

Trail Running's Awesome
This morning I hit the trails for not just a run but an official race with my friend Allison B. We ran a 10K at the War Eagle Trail Running Festival at Hobbs State Park and had an excellent time with perfect temps and trail conditions. They also had a 25K and 50K which I will be doing for sure next year. I could get used to this ;)
