Today I ran to the lake and back from Mom & Charlie's ..... pretty easy down, HARD coming back up - and........ I made it, at a good pace, without having to stop and walk. This run has always been my measuring stick. Maybe I am more ready for this adventure race then I thought. Still wish the rain had stayed away and we could have gone out to ride some trails.

Congrats on getting a run in. We've had nonstop rain since FRiday so I was lazy. I hate running in the rain...a few sprinkles I can handle but this has been steady rain and storms.
Funny thing Whitney...I was down your way. My parents live at Beaver Lake just outside of Rogers sooooo I was running in the rain/storm but it had slowed down when I took out. It has been raining at home as well. Not sure I will get a run in today. I don't mind running in the rain as long as it isn't too cold.
